We normally teach taiko in the standing upright style (beta). However, a lot of taiko is performed in other ways: with the drum on its side (yoko uchi), over the shoulder (katsugi), angled diagonally (naname), and in many other ways besides.
For those of you that haven’t had a chance to try these other styles, come and join our Style It Out session where you can dip your toes into the wider taiko world.
There is a car park next to the village hall on Ruperts Way, if this happens to be full there is street parking nearby but please do not park directly in front of the hall as this blocks the road.
